Greetings,
 
This is an email to inform you of a change in the way submissions to the
IRTC are formatted.  We've made a slight improvement to the format of
the text file.  We've added 3 new optional fields.  They are:
 
TITLE: <The Title of your image>
COUNTRY: <The country you are a citizen of>
WEBPAGE: <A web page where people might find out more about you or your image>
 
All of these fields are optional, they are not required to be part of
your text file when you make a submission to the IRTC.  However, we want
to encourage you to use them because we feel that everyone will benefit
if this additional information is included.
 
Here's an example of what one might fill in for these fields:
 
TITLE:   The Shores of Orion
COUNTRY: Germany
WEBPAGE: http://www.apocalypse.org/pub/u/bill/raytrace
 
These new fields will go into effect immediately and will apply to the
current round's (Topic: Flight) submissions.
 
As part of this change, we've also modified the way we process text
files.  From now on, we will read the text file, then generate a new one
based on the information extracted from what was submitted.  Because we
are doing processing this way, we are now able to provide some
additional features which include:
 
    o Adding JPGFILE and ZIPFILE fields to the .txt file.  These fields
      will help people identify what the name of the submission is and
      if there is a Zip file included with it.
 
    o We will also fill in the TITLE if it is omitted with the name of
      the file as it was originally submitted.
 
    o We will continue to format the text to 80 columns for easier
      reading.
 
We will keep the original/unaltered txt files in an "originals"
subdirectory in the competiton directory.
