The submission period for the March-April 1997 round of the Internet Ray
Tracing Competition is over.  The images are now available for viewing,
voting, and comment at

There were 84 entries accepted for voting.  If you prefer to download large
bundles, they are available in the directory named "zipped-up", under the name
"images-*.zip" for the images, and "all-text.zip" for the text.

This round's voting interval is fourteen days; votes will be accepted from May
1 through May 14.  Winners will be announced May 15.

We are using a "panel" system of voting:  Only panel judges and entrants may
vote; others are welcome to view and comment on the images.  Entrants' votes
for their own images are ignored.  The registration process is unchanged.  See
our web site for more details.

The May-June 1997 round of the IRTC is now open.  The topic for this round is
"Physics & Math".  You may begin submitting for this round immediately;
entries will be accepted through 30 June 1997.
