The submission period for the September-October 1996 round of the
Internet Ray Tracing Competition is over.  The images are now available
for viewing, voting, and comment at

Note the new mirror site, courtesy of Jason Pratt.  It is *not* a
general POV-Ray or IRTC mirror; it is only to distribute some of the
load during the voting period.  We are attempting to establish
additional web sites for voting, also; any new sites will be announced
as soon as they are available.

Please note that this round's voting interval has been extended to
twenty-two days due to the large number of entries submitted.  In the
future, the voting interval will be calculated by dividing the number of
entries by ten, with two weeks as a minimum.  Therefore, for this round,
votes will be accepted from November 1 through November 22.  Winners
will be announced November 23.

If you prefer to download large bundles, they are available under the
name "images-*.zip" for the images, and "all-text.zip" for the text.

The November-December 1996 round of the IRTC is now open.  The topic for
this round is "Flight".  You may begin submitting for this round
immediately; entries will be accepted through 31 December 1996.
