The Internet Ray Tracing Competition now has a FAQ!
 
We have collected a list of our most frequently asked questions, added
our stock answers, and published the whole boring mess on our web site. 
And once povray.org's ftp starts working again, it will be available
there, too.  Maybe even via email someday, but that will be a different
announcement.
