Three important announcements from the Internet Ray Tracing Competition:

 - The submission period for the May-June 1996 round of the IRTC is over.  The
   images are now available for viewing, voting, and comments at

 - The July-August 1996 round of the IRTC is now open.  The topic for this
   round is "Summer".  You may begin submitting for this round immediately;
   entries will be accepted until midnight (US Pacific time) on 30 August
   1996.

 - Prizes for the May-June round have been announced:

    * 1st place - 5 Walnut Creek CD-ROMs and a poster-sized print
    * 2nd place - 3 Walnut Creek CD-ROMs
    * 3rd place - 1 Walnut Creek CD-ROM
