Subject: Internet Raytracing Competition Official Opening!
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii
Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit

As some of you may know, Matt Kruse ran a very successful raytracing
competition last year, with many excellent pictures submitted.

We are now continuing where he left off. The IRTC (Internet Raytracing
Competition) is a competition held every two months open to all 3D rendering
computer artists on any platform and software.

All you need to do is create an original work on the current topic and ftp
it to the submission site. Your work will be made available for people to
vote on, and will be included in a CD-ROM of all entries produced at the
years end.

We welcome any entries of any standard. This is a chance to have your work
displayed with some of the best 3D computer art around, and to get
constructive criticism from some of the best artists. Good Luck!

Interested? Please read more at the official IRTC Web page:

                http://www.povray.org/irtc

Information is also available at the ftp-site:

		ftp.povray.org:/pub/irtc.
