All the votes are in for the January-February 1997 round of the Internet
Ray Tracing Competition, and the winners are:

   First place:   13glass  by Nathan O'Brien ("Glory")
   Second place:  1750view by Marco Lucini ("1750 View")
   Third place:   lasi01nb by N. B. ("no title")

We have also introduced an "Honorable Mention" category.  These are images
which rated highest in one or more of the three categories, but whose
overall rating kept them out of the top three.  This round, we have one
image so honored:

   Honorable mention (concept):  soda3 by Timothy Eyring ("Soda Worship")

Honorable Mention listings for past rounds will be added to the web
pages in the next day or two, so be sure to visit the results pages for
past rounds to see these additions.
