The Internet Ray-Tracing Competition has a new way to submit your files. You can now submit via the World Wide Web, using this web page: http://www.irtc.org/cgi-bin/irtc_submit Features: o Synchronous feedback. Your files will be processed immediately after they are submitted. This a real improvement over ftp or email submissions which sit around for up to 2 hours before being processed. We recommend last-minute submitters use web submission in order to streamline processing (and catch any last-minute problems). o Form-based text file generation. Forget to make a text file? Forget what the format of the file is? Use web submission to guide you! o An email receipt is still sent to you. Known Problems: o Some web browsers (especially old ones) do not support CGI uploads and will not work with this web page. o We had one report of connection problems that caused this to fail. o When browsing for files, the "type" is set to .html which must be changsd to "all files" in order to select .txt, .jpg, or .zip files. Notes: o Email and ftp submissions are still supported. o This is a new feature, so please send your problems and suggestions to irtc@irtc.org. -- The IRTC Admin Team
