MPGFILE: lbmorph.mpg ZIPFILE: lbmorph.zip RENDERER USED: POV-Ray 3.02 for Windows TOOLS USED: Photostyler CREATION TIME: 660 hours HARDWARE USED: Intel 486DX4-100 with 24 MB of RAM ANIMATION DESCRIPTION: This is an animation of my Power Column which morphs objects from one to another. VIEWING RECOMMENDATIONS: Anything with hardware acceleration DESCRIPTION OF HOW THIS ANIMATION WAS CREATED: Everything in this animation was hand coded with the exception of the 'key framed' sections of the morph for which I created a small program. It took a while to get everything right. First I made the basic layout and then of course wrote the code for the actual animation. The morphing is made by loading different data files for the lathe positions (there are a total of 400). The textures are morphed with code as you can see in the ZIP file. I added the some extra frames to the start and end of the animation too (just a title screen and credits: created in Photostyler). The data files for the animation are not included (they are *BIG* but I might post them on my site if they fit). Hope you like the animation. P.S. I'm 14 years old and this is my first big animation in POV-Ray (be kind :-)
