===== From jasondinger@hotmail.com: very good animation of the cat mimicking the "MGM" lion, but the jump to get the paperwad is stiff. definitely an original idea. ===== From clem@dhol.com: A much-parodied intro, but you did it well. The head movement as the cat tracked the ball was well done. The arms would have worked better if you kept the upper arms still and bent the forearms. A realistic jump would have been a lot of work, but it would have helped a lot if you brought the forelegs forward and pushed the hind legs backward. It would have been nice to see the cat actually catch the ball. Or attack one of the throwers and take it. The cat face is a nice piece of modelling. ===== From djconnel@flash.net: This is a nice, compact piece of work! The opening is quite well done. The cat, despite being very simple, has a lot of personality. The humans are extremely simply represented, but it reminds me of Charlie Brown animations, where the humans are intentionally deemphasized to the point of abstraction. The use of the text, also simply done, is effective. This one needs a bit more to reach the top level, but has all the elements of an excellent entry. ===== From Martin.Magnusson.7121@student.uu.se: Hehe... cute. The major minus is that the cat's knees are so stiff. ===== From gregj56590@aol.com: Very simple. Nice credits. If the cat is playing with the ball once it catches, it, and not in fact dying, then more of its legs should be moving. All movement is unpleasantly stiff. ===== From PovRayGuy@aol.com: Cute title sequence. ===== From Alain.Culos@bigfoot.com: I liked the idea. The Intro is really brilliant : Warner Bros style. As said in his own comments, too bad the cat's jumps are so unrealistic. And as I commented elsewhere, I appreciate smoother transitions between scenes. Seeing the cat jump twice in a row from the same position without time for him to go back tends to put off the viewer. It's nice though. I wish I could do that myself. ===== From bill@apocalypse.org: Very cute, the the jumping action happens so fast, it's hard to tell what happened. Still, it's cute - and I have some kitten that do similar things. ===== From r@pa-ppp31.hevanet.com: I liked the beginning screen with the cat in it. Also, I liked the story -- I could follow what the creator was trying to do and say. Notable for originality, composition ===== From r@207-172-73-182.s182.tnt1.man.erols.com: If the cat's motion was more natural looking this owuld have been better. ===== From r@kol44.kauhajoki.fi: Well, it is very ugly.
