===== From agage@csee.usf.edu: Cute. ===== From manorton@tcnet.net: Im sorry to hear your Amiga gave it life for this project. I would like to have seen what this could do with higher output. The one thing that seems to be missing are shadowes? The scene seemended to be rather flat, even though we where pulling away. Also, you used a image map for the back of the snow globe, you might have wanted to use one for the sky as well. The shocking blue sky is rather in your face and takes away from the rest of the animation. IMHO. MANorton ===== From clem@dhol.com: Not much story. Nice snowflakes. I like the fan. A few snowflakes got out of the dome. The looping setup was a mistake. The structure of this anim was linear, with a beginning and end, and just fading in a snowflake doesn't disguise that. The opening snowflake looks more like a piece of origami than anything else. It also reminds me of flexagons. ===== From vansickl@erols.com: I noticed that some of the snowflakes appear outside of the ball. The fan looked really strange too. The concept was interesting but it didn't grab me like some of the others. (vansickl@erols.com) ===== From gregj56590@aol.com: Cute, simple, fun. Animation has a playfulness to it without being an annoying pun. Construction is somewhat consistent and therefore doesn't need to be perfectly photorealistic. ===== From chrisj@digiquill.com: That's cool! At least someone is staying cool... ===== From djconnel@flash.net: I really like the idea, here -- the notion of a recursive snow globe is excellent! But the transition needs to be seamless; so a bit more work is needed. The fan is very nicely done.... ===== From r@crash.wwwcache.ja.net: Nice idea, but lots of display artifacts. Nice penguin. The sky could have looked a lot more realistic (a slight colour gradient?) and the dome didn't really look like it was there. I imagine there are some software limitations, though. Shame about the computer dying. Notable for originality
