===== From agage@csee.usf.edu: I like the tumbling pin effect -- it makes a good lead-in to the other scenes. I had toyed with the same endless zoom idea for the animation, and after seeing what I would have been up against, I'm glad I chose a different approach :) Blender does look like a good package...unfortunately, I've just gone to the dark side and might use Lightwave on this next one. ===== From clem@dhol.com: Very nice models, textures and lighting. The pin reflection worked well. There was trouble with faceting, especially near the camera plane. This showed up most during the tunnel descent. Some pacing could use adjustment. The pin drop and the ocean crossing dragged a bit, while the planets went by too fast for my taste. Nice job overall. ===== From gregj56590@aol.com: The idea of atom ===== From djconnel@flash.net: Nicely done! The dynamic range of the recursion is really nicely done! Technically, as you note, it isn't really raytraced, which is a small issue, but it is nevertheless an excellent piece of 3d work! The pin is a little too Sprint-like, but I like the animation so much I forgive you :).
