===== From agage@csee.usf.edu: Odd, definitely odd :) I do like the motion overall, and the level of detail in the second part was very good. At the end of the first part, there is a bit of a jump where it begins to fade out...nothing major, though. ===== From manorton@tcnet.net: I like your concept. One thing that could use a little work however is some of the textures. The texture of the lab tech left me wondering if this was a mistake. You might also want to take more time, and possibly think of a creative way to do the communication. For example, introduce the lab tech working, then show the ship. Break to a comunication scene and that would help solidafy the story line. If someone just runs across this animation without help from the text file they may be left asking themselves what they just saw. Hope this helps. Keep up the good work. MANorton ===== From clem@dhol.com: The modeling is pretty good and I like the flocking algorithm. The connection between the two halves doesn't come through very well in the animation. The expansion of the metal man is ok, but it would have been better if it had been a bit more irregular. ===== From vansickl@erols.com: The story is hard to follow without the .txt file to explain things. Subtitles would have clarified things. (vansickl@erols.com) ===== From chrisj@digiquill.com: A little bit strange. How did the sub get into the pop? I laughed, though. ===== From djconnel@flash.net: Interesting idea! And the exploding lab assistant is nicely done! But there are some issues... the initial ship scene is strange. What is the nanoscopic ball of molecules? It isn't a macroscopic fluid, as there are so few molecules. And is center of mass conserved? It for some reason doesn't appear so. But it is interesting. The lab scene, though, is confusing. Something is dropped in the beginning, but I honestly can't tell what it is. And the man appears to be running on a treadmill. There's the can of pop, but he doesn't appear to be drinking it. There's a lack of coherence here which holds it back. I really like the human blob model, and there's a lot of creativity in concept, but artistically it is hard to follow.
