===== From agage@csee.usf.edu: Very detailed, with a good attention to detail, but I wonder how long the Rusty Chronicles can continue...then again, you are in luck, since the "Creatures" round seems to agree with the sequel involving ants. ===== From Martin.Magnusson.7121@student.uu.se: I like the lamps very much how did you make them? I like the story as well (as always - these little rusty flicks make a good series). One thing that could be improved though is the background texture on the "other side" of the gate, it's not that... exciting. ===== From clem@dhol.com: So Rusty has a new friend and by luck or design, you have an on-topic way to use him in the Creatures round! Outstanding special effects, particularly the indicator lights and the pentagonal warp. But you *should* know something about Pentagons! :) I like the actual faceted eyes on the antlike creature. Speaking of eyes, Rusty's rotating camera was a nice bit of business and a clever way to allow him to show some emotion. I am impressed by your smooth motion and the natural look of bits like the switch flipping. Many animators ignore or can't do the little tricks with acceleration that make such effects work. I do wish, though, that you would discuss your methods in the text file. It would help judges and educate novice animators. ===== From gregj56590@aol.com: Nice expressive characters. Nice reflective surfaces. Nice feeling of being in a real place. Rusty character is just about getting old for "ORIGINALITY!!!", but I guess you are covered this last one time under "gadgets." ===== From ianshumsky@hotmail.com: Once again the detail on the characters is fantastic. I thought the coloured lights on the machine Boxer turns on were very nicely done.
