===== From agage@csee.usf.edu: 30 hours doesn't get extra credit for patience...150 hours is about where one second of animation starts to get extra credit :) Now, this is a good idea, with a number of subtle effects (like the swinging light), but I'm a but surprised that RDS wouldn't let you animate the fuse becoming shorter or the sparks (but then again, I've never used it myself). I did like the idea, however, and the entire animation reminded me of countless hours spent playing "The Incredible Machine". ===== From vansickl@erols.com: One of the cleverer concepts in this round. (vansickl@erols.com) ===== From Martin.Magnusson.7121@student.uu.se: Wow! I love the focal blur and the camera shake. Good modelling generally. The first part is a bit diffuse though, is the solar panel placed by a window? Very good-looking! (And yes: making the pump shake probably would have been nice). ===== From clem@dhol.com: More postprocessing than I like to see, but it is within the rules for animations. The pump was a mistake. Much too normal for a proper Goldberg. Some sort of surreal improvised guillotine, etc. would have been better. The match flame wasn't bad. You really needed more action and goofiness to sell this story. Nonetheless, decently done overall. ===== From ianshumsky@hotmail.com: Thankfully, we don't have to go through all this every time we want a slice of cheese! Definately one of the best gadgets of the round.
