I don't think you should have to hesitate to upload the source files just 
because they're messy. My code is pretty messy too, generally (but I'm getting
better at that...)

Very good work.  The mechanism is very well done.  The textures are excellent,
although the dark wood gear and the tatami had problems with mpeg artifacting. 
The flickering candles are an excellent touch.  I like the colorful kimono and
the elegant cup.  The animation of the internals of the doll was great.  The
only problem is that the scene was a little choppy in places.
