===== From timk@jtse.com: Reasonably good models. But the animation is mechanical. The characters' actions need more anticipation and more snap. Also, when the second character dives behind the couch, it becomes clear that we're in reduced gravity. Somehow, I don't think this is what you intended. ===== From marlo.steed@uleth.ca: I loved the concept and you do a credible of job of executing the idea. I think if you could have added something else like... eating food and having the food/drink fall onto the couch...all over his shirt, etc. ===== From pdolan@jps.net: I like having Thor turn us off at the end. Thor needs more natural motion (motion inherent in bodily functions) to be convincing. I would like more polygons on the couch - noticeable angles are on the top. Thor doesn't look that bored to me. ===== From lou_bruce@yahoo.com: Kind of boring but vry realistic. The story line needed to be a little more interesting. Good job modeling. ===== From vansickl@erols.com: Animation made no sense. ===== From Alain.Culos@bigfoot.com: OK, you've succeeded in getting boredom across. Yes it's too dark and No I will not turn my monitor's brightness up (I hate it when the rest of the screen is much too bright and the video inside is still darkish). A little improvement could have been for Thor to drink from the can, then throw it in some bin, take another one ... ===== From neilryan@mtco.com: Some of the motion here was very smooth. Some of it was very mechanical. I had to watch this a few times to understand what was going on. I liked the stretch for the soda can. ===== From file: This is raytracing in its highest form--the kind of work I'm striving to develop. Cool cartoony characters with superbly real secondary motion. If I were a judge this round, I'd give this one a much higher score than the usual moving camera shots of still but perfectly photorealistic images (ZZZZ). I haven't viewed all the entries yet, but I hope you win!!!!! Notable for originality
