===== From vansickl@erols.com: Adding the spooked birds was a nice touch. ===== From bbowen@cswnet.com: Great work technically. Those trees are nicely done. I like the plot: a bell scaring birds. Earned it a few more originality points over the other time-piece animations. ===== From dick@buckosoft.com: I like the waving trees. That was a nice touch. It would have been nice if the bell shook after it was struck. Nice birdies too. ===== From AzChip@aol.com: The birds are an excellent touch. Your sense of cutting (timing in editing) is great, too. It's an impressive animation that tells a very simple, clear story. Nice work. ===== From bitdaf@tcainternet.com: Decent camera animation- I think it would have been neat to see some of the gears and bits moving.... ===== From Alain.Culos@bigfoot.com: Certainly a very good entry. There is something I'm not quite able to pinpoint though that makes the whole look artificial in some ways. Maybe the tower and roof just have too straight line, too smooth, too perfect and the interior might be too clean, also the bell's colour is disappointing in my eyes. But not to worry, this is still one of the best submissions. The birds are fantastic. ===== From gmccarter@hotmail.com: A little bit short, but a fine effort nonetheless. This animation tells the complete story of the inner workings of the belltower. Starting with an establishing exterior shot, moving in to follow the action inside, then finishing with the reaction of the birds. Nicely done. ===== From lou_bruce@yahoo.com: Nice modeling job. A little more variety in finishes would have helped bring out the details. Also a close up of more of the mechanism. The birds were a very nice touch. ===== From file: GOOD JOB!, I WAS REALLY AMAZED WITH THE BIRDS AND THE GEARS, BUT IS A LITTLE SHORT, AND THE TEXTURE OF THE BELL IS QUITE UNREAL, BUT CONGRATULATIONS Notable for lighting, modelling
