===== From brendanlemke@canada.com: Very relevant to the topic, but not excessively original. Though technically quite sound I thought the animation lacked some of the artistic depth of the others. Good job, though. ===== From tim_cutho@smileyface.com: You have a nice surrounding scene (good modelling), however your texturing really needs to be worked on. The drip isn't exactly very realistic, maybe you should have made the splash start where the drop was and scale out, instead of just up. Also, the splash could have come earlier. But nice work with POV-Ray, just needs a little more texturing. P.S - Nice cast list :-) ===== From bill@apocalypse.org: subject matter seems a little 'dry' :-) We quickly pan by the house with some reasonable detail, then never see it again... seems a waste. Focusing on the faucet wasn't all the interesting for me (as a viewer). More camera movement might have been fun; prehaps following the drop down to the ground or something like that. ===== From ian.print@ntlworld.com: Could have done with some extra details on the textures on the walls and floor, it was a bit too much all the same. Some of the camera movements could have been smoother. The water splash didn't look very realistic. ===== From thomas_4d@hotmail.com: don't known how hard it is to animate in Megapov but it must be hard rendering looks alittle flat ===== From dearmad@sapere.com: Hm. Seems like a lot of effort to go through to model the faucet. I take it you didn't have access to something like Moray or some other free-ware modeller? ===== From lou_bruce@yahoo.com: I was disapointed that the stain didn't change and that each drop and splash were simply a repetition of the first. The drop should have hesitated do to surface tension on the end of the spigot. Nice modelng job on he spigot.
