Running Time: 27 seconds FPS : 25 Total Frames: 680 Dimensions : 352 X 240 VIEWING RECOMMENDATIONS: DESCRIPTION OF HOW THIS ANIMATION WAS CREATED: This is my first animation. I have played with POVRAY on/off for the last 4 years, and have entered the 'stills' competition twice. I thought it was time to try out animation, and it has been a learning experience. I did not use object modellers or drawings, I just made it up as I went along. I prefer to code by hand, although it can often lead to a lot of 'trial-and-error' and dead-ends. Unfortunately, some scenes (such as the ball being placed in the dish) could not be included, as my MPG was quickly approaching the 5MB limit. The pictures on the walls of the rooms are image-maps of photos my young daughter took in a park. Here is a summary of the events in the video, in case you have trouble following it. - The ball swirls down the inside of the dish - It exits along the blue track and falls onto the trampoline - It bounces onto the mousetrap - This causes the rod to be knocked out, releasing the ball - As the swinging balls oscillate, the ball on the far end hits the purple target. - This causes the match to hit the striker and ignite - The cannon fuse is ignited - The cannon shell hits the red and white target, and cuases the knife to spin - The knife cuts the cord, releasing the weighted wheel - The turning wheel turns on/off the spray paint cans - They paint through a template onto a blank sign - The finished sign is displayed
