===== From maal-irtc20030115@anthrosphinx.de: Visuals well done. As for the missing soundtrack: Why not just add the song title/singer as "listening recommendation"? ===== From marlo.steed@uleth.ca: I really liked the ambience of this animation. The color scheme and relflections worked well. The concept was a good one as well but I think the concept could have been tweeked. For instance, I think if the initial section came after or durig the chess game it would have made more sense with and the viewer would be able to makethe connection between the prison and the chess pieces. I liked the animated chess game and your portrayal of checkmate was great. ===== From evilsnack@hotmail.com: JV: No discernible relationship to the topic. Also, why is the camera shaking so much? ===== From tek@evilsuperbrain.com: Very impressive work. The materials and lighting are fantastic, and the overall feel of the piece is very good. The movement is nice, but it's smoother in the opening prison sequence than in the chess games. Also I'm not sure I understand the story, it seems a little too wierd and might work better with some more characterisation, things like why they constantly go to war, that kind of thing. On the whole a very good animation. ===== From maarten_hofman@hotmail.com: The board seems to be shaking a bit during the animation, and I've no clue why this would be occurring. Also, the sand doesn't move with the pieces while they move... But these are all details. The entry is certainly unique, and well designed. ===== From jps6860@yahoo.com: I don't quite see the connection to the topic. I did enjoy the variety of camera angles. It helped give the whole animation some energy. I'm curious if the music would have helped things or been a distraction. ===== From clem@dhol.org: Interesting and well done but not really on topic. The sand around the board is a strange idea. It might have made more sense for captured pieces to return to the underground rather than flying away. Good textures.
