MPGFILE: archi.mpg RENDERER USED: Pocray 3.5 TOOLS USED: Spatch, MorphingSpatch, Moray, Animation Shop, Avi2mpg CREATION TIME: about 3 weeks HARDWARE USED: Athlon 1800XP+ 256MB RAM ANIMATION DESCRIPTION: I think that it's a reather original idea to show an evolution not as it is in nature (from a seed to a tree for example), but in other way. I want to show the evolution in architecture from an ancient ages through a medival, XIX century, till present-day and future (O.K maybe this rocket doesn't look like a intergalactic, lightspeed spaceship, but I had not too much time). VIEWING RECOMMENDATIONS: DESCRIPTION OF HOW THIS ANIMATION WAS CREATED: It's the first animation I've created and I must say that it was realy hard job. First of all I've created a key frame models with SPATCH. Next I've used a MORPHING SPATCH to create frames between key frames. After that I had to use Spatch again and export all models(150 files) one by one to MORAY. In MORAY I've created a backgrond, lights and camera and puted it into one file wich I used as a layout to whole animation. I also created layer texture with 4 difrent layers, every one for difrent part of animation (pillars, chimney, skycreaper, rocket) When I've done that I've merged all frames with the layout, and rendered it in POVRAY. In the end I've conected all pictures together in ANIMATION SHOP and converted it into MPEG1 format with AVI2MPEG. As I said it was realy exhausting job, especialy exporting 150 files one by one from one program to another.
