===== From Markus.Altendorff@asamnet.de: The "robot adventures" are always one of my favourite entries to the IRTC. Excellent work on the interiors and the animation, so i won't subtract any points for the "better than trek" comment at the end ;-) ===== From maal-irtc20030115@anthrosphinx.de: The "robot adventures" are always one of my favourite entries to the IRTC. Excellent work on the interiors and the animation (extra bonus for the "pure PoVray" work!), so i won't subtract any points for the "better than trek" comment at the end ;-) ===== From schaneville@hotmail.com: I'm always impressed with your models, as they are relatively simplistic and yet still portray a great deal of information and a wonderful image. You have also mastered ease in/out in povray code... ===== From jminner@sc.rr.com: I always like this artists work...well done again ===== From zach@brewstergeisz.cjb.net: I was very glad the bots followed their captain's orders, and you didn't have them say, "Eject the core? But sir--" "Just do it!" The reflection of the TV set in the last shot was a nice touch. An excellent short, as usual... ===== From s.mitchell@tue.nl: I love rusty, but maybe it's time to do something else. The films are starting to seem a little too mass produced. ===== From pterandon@yahoo.com: Cool storytelling, believable characters, nice setting. ===== From thatsalloneword@msn.com: I like the double meaning of 'escape'. For the ship and Rusty & co. ===== From irtc_mail@yahoo.co.uk: I'm guessing this is meant to be a sequel which follows on from the Force of Nature round, but like a lot of sequels this is just the original with each scene shot from a slightly different angle, even down to the final sequence of pulling back to reveal its all been a TV show. I think some of the sequences here show the problem with animated robots. When they are not moving from place to place they are just not very animated. Perhaps its time to upgrade them with some facial expressions. You have numbered the file with a leading zero. This implies you intend to do more than 99 of these. With one every 3 months, rusty100 will appear in around 20 years. 20/20 for commitment. ===== From file: Rusty's getting old. Kill him.
