I had to watch this one a few times.  It kinda baffled me with the people
there.... I did like the titles.

Generic Note:
I really enjoyed watching these animations, but I personally think that pointing
out the low points of an animation help more than pointing out the high points.
 As such, I usually only mention the problems.  Please don't take it the wrong
way :-)

Technical:
 I would have given it better marks if it was just the snowman bit.  The
spectators were pretty obviously a textured plane.  From an animation
standpoint, While the snowman was melting, why not drop off some of the bits. 
Have the arms sag downwards, have the nose drop off.  Maybe have the whole
thing tip over at some point, or maybe just start to lean.  The melting snow on
the grass looked very nice.  

Artistic:
 I liked the melting bit, and maybe the birds could have worked, but the
spectators just looked so out of place.  Framing the snowman off center might
have added a bit more visual interest.  Maybe orbit the camera during the
melting?

Theme:
It definately fit the theme, but did not give me any surprises, entertain me, or
teach me anything about endings in particular.  I give it a 5.  The birds were
a nice thematic touch and maybe without the people might have given it a more
forlorn feel.

It's original, but has some serious technical flaws (or maybe i better say I'd
have some suggestions...):
- The snowman just shrinks. Some pieces falling off (like the stones or the arms
- most likely the arms) would probably look better.
- The crowd really looks like just an image map. Sorry. Maybe putting each
character map on a rectangle and placing this in a 3D space could help.

Nice touch with the circling vultures, by the way. Total nonsense, but very
symbolic ;-)

This was definately surprising and occasionaly funny but it would have
been funnier if the mpeg was smaller. It is not much fun downloading
10MB and finding it is a joke entry.
