===== From Markus.Altendorff@asamnet.de: A solid performance by Rusty & friends (and frauds) - clean modelling, nice touches (the doors, the background animated sign, etc.), a well-adjusted moral message ;) - and i congratulate JVS for his steadfastness. ===== From darwin_gregory@yahoo.com: Nice story line, though I was a bit let down not to see the unveiling of the fraudulent Rusty. The comunication was nice, and fit in with the scene well. I liked the effect of the teller's text. ===== From bmh@arkady.demon.co.uk: It's nice to see another Rusty episode, a straightforward plot nicely executed. Frames 189-287 show the bank exterior and and a clock (I didn't know that any banks would be open at 7:15 am or pm !). (There are some aliasing artifacts visible on the wall in the background, one of the lines vanishes between frames 215 and 216). The front of the bank is excellent, the distorted and misaligned reflections in the glass panels look realistic. 288-467 The rotated adverts behind the cashier look good and the hologram/laser writing by the cashier robot with the light traces back to the projector are effective. 468-527 It felt like the camera was a bit close to the imposter robot, as a walking robot goes by in the background and another green robot passes outside, but we hardly get to see them. 888-971 The time is now 7:45 - half an hour to close an account ! The physics of moving Rusty around the different sets is done very well, tilting correctly while moving up and down the ramps and the slow deceleration rather than stopping suddenly helps the objects seem more real and give an impression of scale. I would have liked to see a bit more camera movement, all the shots are from static camera positions, and I would prefer to have the camera further from the subjects to capture more of the background. I also felt that the sequence contained a little too much re-use of previous objects/characters without introducing much new material for this contest. ===== From sascha@jpatch.com: Very nice! You maintain a high quality in all your rusty animations. In this one I like the ad-board and the clerk's "holographic" text-display a lot. ===== From file: Characters are well known and unchanged. ===== From file: Good
