They start off slowly, perhaps a little shy, but then quickly get comfortable and start more elaborate dance moves. At the end they part company, leaving the floor the way they came, wondering what could have been if only the song was a little longer... DESCRIPTION OF HOW THIS ANIMATION WAS CREATED: This is my first venture into the world of Povray. I've done a little raytracing in the past with Art Of Illusion, but that was a few years ago and even then, I only tried out a few things and left it. Working with Povray was a lot of fun and a great learning experience, but please remember that this was my first Povray project. :) I knew that I wouldn't have time to learn the modeling language and come up with super fancy dancers, so I started simple and used spheres, one pink and one blue. I then wrapped my head around the animation process and the clock variable. On paper, I drew out a storyboard of what I thought I could accomplish in the time given. Some things had to be dropped, but for the most part, I think it turned out okay. The animation is done in 320x240 at 30fps, raytraced with no jitter and with anti-aliasing set to 0.2. I used the free AviCreator to transform the BMP files into an AVI file. I then used the free version of TMPGEnc to take the AVI and make an MPG out of it. To make the poster, I just opened one of the BMP files in MS Paint and saved it as a JPG. I found the process to be quite enjoyable and I look forward to the next topic to see what more I can learn. I hope that you enjoy my first animation and thank you for viewing.
