Short: Surreal Towers Silhouetted against the moonlight
 
Description:  This is more surreal than alien I think, because a sky like that could
rarely ever appear naturally.  But it serves a purpose to create a mood, rather than
to mimic reality.  The sky was created by applying a bozo texture to a cone, and then
was edited in an image processor, and finally applied as a very large image map.
All objects were created using Moray and were rendered in POV-Ray.
