Title: Spermicide

This image depicts a poor depressed little sperm who just can't face life
anymore. I figured this would fit this month's topic, a world with suicidal 
sperm seems pretty alien to me. 

How I did it:
I used Moray to generate the sperm. It has a nice bezier patch editor. I
used the 4 patch cylinder to make the tail and a flatened sphere for the
head.
The 'moon' is Mars. I used the Mars .gif that is on the POV CD. I converted
it to grey scale and blured it a little, using Paint Shop Pro, and used it for 
a bump-map. I used the colored .gif for the image-map. 
What would an alien landscape be without a heightfield? The mountains are 
your everyday run-of-the-mill plasma fractal care of Fractint. I converted it 
to .tga and loaded it into GUM so I could position and scale it like I wanted.
The bridge is just an elongated box with the stone texture that comes in 
Brickit (also found on the CD). 
I used Paint Shop Pro for Gamma correction.
If I don't win I hope at least somebody found it amusing.
