This image was modeled and rendered in a program I'm writing. I'm
experimenting right now in my program to create soft shadows - this is
the result so far. The textures are all procedural or hand-drawn by me.
If you've got a PowerMac, you can try out a demo version of my program.
It's called Oasis and can be found on info-mac ftp mirrors or my home
