1-26-95 The file TTHILBRT.JPG is my entry to the January 1995 competition with the theme of TOYS. It is a Hilbert curve constructed out of TinkerToys. The file TTHILBRT.ZIP contains the POV 2.2 source for the scene except for the GIF image_map. The Hilbert shape was generated by a program called PPP, which stands for POVray and Polyray Preprocessor, version 2.5 that was written by my brother John Wind. PPP is available for download from ftp.povray.org/pub/povray/incoming/utilities as the file PPP25A.ZIP . His sample file HILBERT.INC recursively builds the curve out of cylinders and spheres. My modification builds it out of colored sticks and spools, and it turns the spools to match the direction of the bends at the corners. The rest of the scene is my creation. The picture on the wall is a scene that I created when I first started using POV. The glasses are scaled up from a small set of sunglasses that I created for my model of a certain pink bunny that carries a drum and wears sunglasses.
