I only had two problems.  This seems more fantasy than sci fi, and underwater
(the deeper you go, the more true this is) scenes should lack the shorter
wavelengths of light (that's why the water appears blue on the surface). Other
than that, I'm a big fan of yours.

Very nice, very photorealistic.  It would be nice if the artist could include
the diver and the big scary fish in the overall blue tint of the background,
though perhaps to a lesser extent to account for distance.  As it is, the 
foreground and the background don't mesh as well as they could.

Very original, goiod idea. The fish's lips/gums are a bit extreme. The
background
should have a little more wavy texture, though, to give an underwater feel.

This fish is UGLEEE! The swimmer looks good enough to eat though...
Background lighting is too even for underwater( and the reds on the fish 
wouldn't come out that good underwater either) Fog or another type of
atmosphere would have helped this alot.  Bubbles from girl are nice touch.

Wow!  That fish looks like its about to leap out of the screen.  And I'm not 
even wearing 3-D glasses!  I think that a light film, although it would have 
decreased the level of detail in those great models, would have definately 
added to the realism of the picture (complementing that great background).  
Nevertheless, this is one of the best images in the competition.

Great concept, typical excellent Obukhov execution.  I'm not sure what that
thing is on the roof of the fish's mouth--a lure, I guess?  Great pic, overall.
