I would like to see you enter next month's competition. A few pointers: If, when
you render the image you think "This could really use a ___," then put a ___.
Also, don't use too many colors in a single image. Oh, I like your Girlfriend's
lava-lamp.

A pretty simple image, but the lava lamp is rather good.
POVray gets easier with practice, trust me :)

Interesting idea, but a bit sparse on detail. What's the weird band around
the central glass part of the lamp? It really detracts from the scene...

I think the clacker and the lava lamp are a little too close to the edge of the
shelf they
are on.  And the texture on the planet could have been a little nicer.  And the
starfield
could use some work.

Very nice lamp.  What's that band on it?  The scene is nicely composed, but
that planet looks weird.
