Nice idea, and cool picture. The chair almost looks like a dragon or something.
And you need a better JPG converter - the graphics are really grainy, not
at all like what POV can really do, and this detracts from the image's 
attractiveness.

I think the starfield could use some work, I like the thron but the platform it
is on is at
a strange angle.

Your ring artifact may be from the edge of the halo'd object.  Try NO_SHADOW on
it.
Crystal is very nice.  Overall a little dark, I couldn't see the stars until I
lightened it up (to see if there was a background!) Halo Light is nice.

Cool, trippy-looking picture.  I like the crystal stuff.  The pic was a bit
grainy, and too small--a larger render with more anti-aliasing might have
helped.
