Good idea, and a very nice saber. The only thing I don't like about this
picture
is the floor - the tiles should be either smaller or more bumpy, as the
slight wavy reflection looks really odd, IMHO.

If you want to use povray 2.2 files in piov 3.0, try using the command line
setting +MV2.2
(in windoze pov, use the 'edit settings' thingo and add it :))

Very nice rendering of a lightsaber.  Try changing the position of the camera
(or
the position of the lightsaber) is such a way that you can see more of the beam
of light.  It would probably be better if the full beam was visible, including
its
tip (which should be round-shaped).  Also, where is that "bzzzzt" sound?  ;-)

I love this one, It would have been neat to see some dents or sometihng in the
lightsabre
so it didn't look quite so perfect and new.  Might have also been neat to see
some reflections hinting to what was holding the sabre before.

REAL Nice.  The metals are maybe just a little bit too bumpy. The variation in
the floor really makes this work.  Dirty it up a little and it would be
very photo-realistic.
