===== From chipr@niestu.com: Very appropriate concept, communicated well. The girl is a bit off--she's very stiff, her hand looks like it's embedded in the desktop, and her hair looks like gold foil. Also, she's a red-head in the dream, although there's really nothing too unusual about that. But would she be wearing exactly the same clothes? The brick texture on the wall is way out of proportion to the rest of the scene--too large. But the dream bubble is very well done, and draws the attention nicely. ===== From bbowen@cswnet.com: That's some real nice modelling you've done with that girl. I'm particularly impressed with how well you got the hair to drape. But those bricks are waaaay too big. And the floor texture looks a little off. ===== From ucoakc00@mcl.ucsb.edu: Nice work. As a general rule I avoid realistic people as they never look quite right. But you did a nice job. ===== From amarok@geocities.com: Golden hair? Hmm... ===== From bill.marrs@pureatria.com: I get a very barbie-doll thing going for this scene.. ===== From tholal@bga.com: Those are some huge bricks. ===== From karl@pemail.net: Bricks in wall out of scale with the rest of picture ===== From jjanger@mail.cspp.edu: Too blurry. Pooly laid out. ===== From sonya_roberts@geocities.com: I thnk you'd have gotten a much nicer final image if you'd used POV-Ray's procedural textures for things like the bricks and sky instead of image maps. This basically looks more like it was dashed off by someone who has just learned about applying image maps in a scan line renderer than by someone using a raytracer. Nice modelling on the girl though. ===== From jlb36@cornell.edu: The brick and floor textures are bit large for the scale you are using. ===== From jaime@ctav.es: Proportions are not measured in all objects. This does the scene less real. Jaime (jaime@ctav.es) ===== From ptdawson@voicenet.com: Aren't those bricks a bit large?
