candle flames, the book spines, the candle stick, the inkwell--all just
marvelous.  Composition and lighting are incredible.  My favorite image of the

   I feel that after reading the text file I am much more able to 
appreciate this scene. The wear on the spines of the books was just right.
The only thing that I see hurting this scene is a tenous (sp?) attachment
to the theme, but in this case, you are forgiven. :-J

What can I say, other than WOW!  Fantastic work on the books; they look
fabulous.  The scene is very
nicely detailed, and I like the lighting too.  Beautiful candlestick!  And that

Very nice.  The books remind me somewhat of the books found in the library in 
the game Myst.  The age-old, worn look is almost perfect.  The bread ans candle
also both look very nice, and the dark background very much adds to the overall
effect.  Very nice.
