===== From chipr@niestu.com: Great scene. Very good composition, colors, textures. Excellent modeling on the bike. Snow is quite realistic. The mood of the scene comes through strongly. One great detail that really enhances the scene is the tiny variations of color in the bricks and mortar, and the wall beneath them. Very good work! ===== From mmandl@aol.com: liked your bike. ===== From keitha@vcommons.com: Nice curtains. ===== From jsaxton@folio.com: Gorgeous image. The snow really "works" ===== From bbowen@cswnet.com: Wow! Your attention to detail is astonishing. Having struggled with the brick texture myself, I can appreciate little things like how well you've aligned the windows relative to it. Also, I like the way made the frames of the windows slightly unconnected at the corners. A nice touch of realism. I'm also fairly impressed with the water discoloration on the foundation: not that it came off as well as you might have liked, but it says a lot about your potential. I don't think most people would have even thought to try that. ===== From xeo@sprynet.com: I think you're bike gonna rust if you keep it out there all night ===== From ucoakc00@mcl.ucsb.edu: At my school, that bike is already stolen. Nice image. ===== From bill.marrs@pureatria.com: Very nicely done. The attention to detail (every object was done with care), also the colors used (subdued but appropriate) are great. ===== From tholal@bga.com: Excellent detail! ===== From klynn@minn.net: great bike! ===== From tlyons@gnn.com: very lonely feeling to sceane ===== From shipbrk@gate.net: Nice realism! So *that's* what radiosity can do for an image... ===== From sonya_roberts@geocities.com: BEAUTIFUL texturing in this scene. Lighting is great too. I just wish it was more on-topic. That brick texture is amazing. ===== From jlb36@cornell.edu: The snow looks great. One way that you might be able to speed up the rendering time (and thus put in the footprints) is to make one or two snow objects and tile them. That way, you could limit the number of intersection tests for each print (it would only be checked against the blobs in that chunk of snow...). ===== From jaime@ctav.es: Great image. I can see that your brain is not much damaged by my sickening code. Nice textures and composition. Perhaps is a bit cold, but is snowing!. Jaime (jaime@ctav.es) ===== From marvil@algonet.se: Nice picture! This school looks so swedish!
