Another in the RenderMan "One Perfect Pencil" vein.  Nice work, though the
wood doesn't have any grain.  And not having an eraser is a cop-out.  Good
proportions, though.  Also, relation to topic is somewhat thin.

Were you pressed for time? New to POVRAY? Anyway, the image is just a bit too
simple. Notice that there are other complete images with pencils included. A
plain pencil gives me an "unfinished" feeling. Nice job with the textures on
this model, but where's the eraser?
