===== From agage@mines.edu: Although I still am not sure what the debris in the air is, I really like this image. At first glance, it looks like an underwater scene, with a blurry, algae-tinted rock to the left, with bubbles (the debris) rising around the (sinking?) books and such. However, after your description, I can also see it as an aerial view. My highest artistic vote yet, by far. ===== From jjanger@mail.cspp.edu: The images are good, but the setting is confusing. Where these objects are in the scheme of things is confusing. There is a lack of orientation. ===== From wozzeck@club-internet.fr: Good overall, but you should improve the book. ===== From tholal@bga.com: Great job with the open book in the back! ===== From gmccarter@hotmail.com: At first, this image seemed flat and dull. Then I slowly realized that we are seeing the INSIDE of a storm. Cool. ===== From cfusner@enter.net: I have to agree with the idea that "physics of weather" is a weak connection. However, having said that, although this is not the most on topic idea I've seen, I do like it a good deal just the same. The snow globe in the midst of this tumultuous and quite threatening wind storm is marvelous thinking. The only fairly important thing I see that needs improvement is the pages of the book in the lower right. See how the pages are not smooth curves but look as if they've been creased in some unrealistic way? Having just finished making an open book model myself, (although I used MORAY), I believe this comes from using a quadratic spline prism where a cubic is called for. Cubic splines get rid of those awkward transitions between control points. I'd have to d/l your source before I could be sure of this advice, but that is what it looks like, from first hand experience with a similar problem. ===== From alex@astro.queensu.ca: needs a bit more colour ===== From SSchanevil@aol.com: I like the pages in the books. I also like the burnt edges of the single page. Even though underwater pictures lend themselves to prodominantly bluish scenes, I would have liked to see more color.
