===== From sonya_roberts@geocities.com: LOVELY image, very beautiful. ===== From jaime@ctav.es: Very nice water! ===== From klynn@minn.net: Good use of color. ===== From egnork@eznet.net: The picture has a sense of rightness. ===== From wozzeck@club-internet.fr: Nice picture, reminding me of P.J.Farmer's River world (Book 4). ===== From up@ct.heise.de: I wish you had explained it - it looks real and like from a dream. My favorite artistic - rate: 20 ===== From gmccarter@hotmail.com: Fascinating. The "bending" of the water surface suggests immense power. ===== From cfusner@enter.net: I very much like the way this image stimulates the imagination. It makes one wonder, where is the water going... down, deep into the earth, perhaps to some deep underground ocean? Not much explanation of the island, what it is for, or how it is suspended... one wonders whether it is floating there, or just the visible part of some much larger column which extends down below the surface. A very intriguing image, altogether. ===== From chipr@niestu.com: Very attractive image. I really love the water--one of the best water surfaces I've seen coming out of POV-Ray, and a very strong "flowing" effect in the depression. The modeling on the building is cool, too. I would have liked some explanation, or the source. One obvious flaw is the pixellation of the heightfield in the middle of the inverted "mountain" gives a strong stair- stepped effect.
