===== From sonya_roberts@geocities.com: Excellant image! Ah, how well I remember that scene... ===== From kazemir@pde.com: Great image! Great T-Rex, Great Rain, Great Lightning, Great Bushed in the background! I think the bush to the left forground is a little too regular, and the man, and building debris look a little fake in the image. Partially due to the fact that the rest of it looks so Real! ===== From bill.marrs@pureatria.com: At least he doesn't have to worry about soiling his underwear... The T.Rex is amazing, in modelling and especially texture -- how did you make the skin texture? Teeth need a little more whiteness, or sparkle. The film holes top and bottom are quite distracting and unrealistic. ===== From wozzeck@club-internet.fr: Impressive models. ===== From MMandl@aol.com: again another great image! I wish you would do a tutorial on blobs for dummies like me. MaryAnn ===== From bsieker@techfak.uni-bielefeld.de: Excellent models and background. A little stiff posing of the guy. (which might be just the point.) ===== From i_emackay@mountains.net.au: Excellent but I think the sprocket holes detract from the picture. A subdued colour instead of white would have been better. One of the top 10 in the competition. ===== From Martin.Magnusson.7121@student.uu.se: The things you can do with blobs are nothing but amazing! If I hadn't read the text file I could have sworn that the T-rex was some canned triangle-mesh rip-off. ===== From arcana@sinbad.net: This is a great image. :{) If you're looking for suggestions to make it a bit better, might I suggest the following: 1) A bit more work on the T-Rex's eye. Give it some more detail. 2) So much work went into the T-Rex the backdrop, and the plants, that it makes the "johnny-on-the-spot" and the man look a bit less detailed than they could be in comparison. 3) Maybe a bit more evidence of the water from the rain on the ground, the man, and on the surface of the T-Rex. Overall though, a wonderful image. :{) ===== From msfl.bf@fasonet.bf: I wonder why the guy left his pants on, though ;) ===== From ptdawson@voicenet.com: Wow! This is just amazing. The dino skin texture is perfect!!! Those trees are kind of klunky, though. :-) Oh yeah, it's 20-20-20. ===== From bobfranke@halcyon.com: Once again, brilliant modeling. The only flaw I can see is that the shadows from the light source behind the camera seem to sharp for a scene that has a lightning strike in the background. Got my highest vote for tech. ===== From web_user@flex058.dijkgraaf.wau.nl: Would you stop blobbing please, Lorenzo? You are ruining the markets for programs like Poser this way! but no kidding, once again a fabulous entry, and I like this one even better than your blobbed witch (although she was slightly more attractive than Rex here). I don't know how you do it but the Rex is perfect - the body, the head (wow), the mouthm teeth, texture - although some change in colors on it's body wouldn't have been bad. The man on the toilet is well-modelled (great humor), I just can't get how he would have had time to pull his pants up when caught by surprise (and Rex) like this. The trees, mountains and lightning give a much better background than in your witch-entry, filled without leaving empty composition gaps. The lighting of the scene is perfect. Superb entry! ===== From web_user@eglab11.mines.edu: Incredible CNG! You are awesome Notable for modelling, composition, textures ===== From r@dialup83.webbernet.net>: The dinosaur is excellent. The skin texture is impressive. The human is a bit stiff. The blob rain is an interesting idea. They ought to find something less toxic than lawyer to feed the poor thing! In my top ten. Notable for textures, modelling
