Good idea, well realized: it really looks like the original one...
Was it from unsufficient AA or too heavy JPG compression, there is a large
amount of aliased lines in this picture.

The major stumbling block with trying to adequately judge such an entry as
this is that many of the judges, myself included, will have no foreknowledge
of the artist or painting. Without knowing what the original image looked
like, I cannot make a fair determination on your entry. If I have time (I'm
sorely pressed right now), I'll do a web search before submitting my votes.

Was the horizontal line across the hole intentional (maybe the line between
 rear wall and floor) ? It distracts a bit, IMO.
