Nice idea, realization is weak (but you already know it).  When you
have not much time to work on an image, keep things simple but good,
try to focus on a good general composition, with simple but well made
models that fits the composition. Don't have regrets about hands or 
feets, they would have brought nothing to your image (at that scale).

Good idea. I think that with more time you could have made your scene look less
"empty": your lanscape and sky
use about 90% of the image. Maybe a wide angle could have been use to increase
the impressiveness of the adult
side.

I like the concept, although it's a bit depressing, at least for me. Your
message
comes across. I very much like the sky color blend from blue to dark.
Otherwise, I find it a bit empty, though. Some more object would have fitted
in.
