===== From talious@sprynet.com: I shall be laughing for weeks ===== From kosh@nesys.com: Clever and photorealistic. Shadows would be better by using one key sun light, plus 'shadowless' fills. ===== From jkittle@earthlink.net: Good image, I like the idea ===== From 101741.541@compuserve.com: Nice idea with the yellow stripe ! The background isn't quite "readable". It doesn't seem that it's daytime, while light is coming from the window. Also, with straight window-glass, don't bother to turn refraction on (just keep reflection), it has no effect, apart slowing down the rendering. ===== From wozzeck@club-internet.fr: Great idea! The progress made since your previous entries is spectacular! I just don't guess what the image outside is, and there is still a problem, as you explain, with your area_light. To me, the problem comes more from your number of sources than from the adaptive level. ===== From jaime@ctav.es: Strange theme, but interesting. Very nice done. And, only for curiosity, I've readed your responses to the exam, and think your punishment is not enough! :) ===== From bobfranke@halcyon.com: Nice job. I like the image outside the window... much better than just showing a sky with clouds. The work behind the camera adds some nice additional detail. I would like to see the softer light from the outside light source. If you are unable to let your computer run for extended periods, it is possible, with POV, to use several partial rendering sessions. ===== From arcana@sinbad.net: Good image. The only thingsthat really need work aree image map used outside and the area lights out there. The brightness of the light shining in through the window onto the left hand wall wars in my mind with the dimness and flatness of the image map used to fill in the outside. Also, the cat (climbing down the wall?) looks really odd where it is. Part of it is the flatness of the image I suppose. Part of it is the dimness of the image. It just looks odd. :{) ===== From ethelm@bigfoot.com: A very good image. ===== From bill.marrs@pureatria.com: 20, ouch! I would have though a ray-tracer would be good at math. :-) ===== From dick@buckosoft.com: I love the window/glasswork. Great detailed reflections. The "TV OFF LIMITS" tape is too tight (looks like wood rather than tape) ===== From msfl.bf@fasonet.bf: Can I have the tape about learning through osmosis when you done with it, please...? ===== From r@dial-23.ocis.net>: Cute idea, done well. Notable for modelling, originality ===== From r@ww-td04.proxy.aol.com>: One of my favorites. Can't think of anything else to say except good job. ===== From r@tholian.bankamerica.com>: One of best uses of the theme. Notable for originality ===== From r@gw-nl2.origin-it.com>: Notable for originality
