Very nice modelling work on the truck and houses. The sky and trees are also
very nicely done. The lighting and sky convincingly set the time to just before
sunset.

Nice concept. I agree that the image would have suffered without the arms. Too
bad they are not a bit more convincing.

For some reason the truck seems to float above the road. It seems like there
should be more of a shadow under it.

Very detailed and amusing image.  I especially like the "setting sun" sky
effect.

The detail on the houses is excellent, too.  Incidentally, I still do all of my
work with a DX2/66 -- and most of my final proofs take a couple of days to
finish.  I can imagine how long this one would have run if allowed on a
DX2/80...

Very nice. I especially like the sky and the ice cream truck.  You are right,
the image would be lifeless without the child's arms.  I think the arms are
better than you give yourself credit.  The main area for improvement, for me,
is the grass in the foreground. The distant trees work well.  Some may consider
them cheating, but modeling a distant silhouetted object can be a waste of
time.

Definitely my favorite. Incredible late-afternoon atmosphere, lighting and sky
set a nice mood. Cute idea, great truck. The only thing I'd say I didn't like
about the picture were the hands. Good idea, but didn't seem to work as well as
it could have in this case...
