JPGFILE: cycle2.jpg ZIPFILE: cycle2.zip RENDERER USED: WinPov 3.02 TOOLS USED: sPatch, Texture Editor & Paint Shop Pro RENDER TIME: 21 hours 35 minutes 26 seconds HARDWARE USED: iP133, 96 Mb under Win95 IMAGE DESCRIPTION: As most of these shiny Xmas presents .... the nice red tricycle will finish in the bin before new year! DESCRIPTION OF HOW THIS IMAGE WAS CREATED: IN A TERRIBLE RUSH!!! Same again .... Everything except the floor was modeled using sPatch (THE freeware i would bring with me on a desert island!), then each surface was exported as separate pov files. The textures where created in Texture editor (great shareware!) and applied to each surface in Winpov 3.02. The concrete tiles are nicely layed out with a couple of #while loops. A random generator is used for each board to offset the texture and apply small rotation. Without these rotation the floor looked too flat ... now it's more like it. I made the mistake to put TWO area lights 4x4 for final render .... together with the bin normal it gave a render time of almost 22 hours :-o I added a couple of trash bins and a coke bottle model that I already had but it still looks very empty :-( But today IS the deadline so I can't do more than this!
