===== From roth@ens.ascom.ch: great clouds! I prefer this one to your other submission ===== From djconnel@flash.net: deja-vu :) ===== From castlewrks@aol.com: 2nd image of same thing... what was wrong with 1st? ===== From sonya_roberts@geocities.com: Hmmm...I would have been more impressed if you'd only turned in ONE version of this image. The other one was nicer, too. ===== From daves@wkpowerlink.com: My favorite of the two. The fake halo you've described was a good touch. Perfect 20 for artistic merit. ===== From chipr@niestu.com: See comments on "hst". ===== From bill@apocalypse.org: This is the better of the 2 camera angles ===== From bobfranke@halcyon.com: Fantastic detail, I had to pull out an old issue of Sky & Telescope just to check you out. The realism of the cloud layers is extreme. The only flaw for me is that the atmosphere is a little too thick. This image is what photo-realism is all about. ===== From ethelm@bigfoot.com: Excellent image. Well Done. ===== From bsieker@techfak.uni-bielefeld.de: I like this one better than the other, the earth looks very good, though the atmosphere is way too thick. The HST seems less reflective than in you other HST image. ===== From lpurple@netcom.com: Really nice modelling, esp. the Earth w/ clouds & lighted limb. ===== From r@slip-32-100-72-29.ny.us.ibm.net>: Great graphic! perhaps a bit more modeling in the solar panels would be nice. Notable for modelling, originality, composition ===== From r@cust160.webbernet.net>: Again, metal good, solar panels weak. The atmosphere trick is clever and the effect is good looking , as is the 3d cloud deck. They are good art, if very unrealistic. Multiple submissions are OK, but multiples of the same subject are considered inelegant. It would have been better to submit your best one (I prefer hst.jpg)and include the other as a bonus in your .zip file or point to it on a web page.
