The sun, silently opening it's eyes upon a new world that, yet still asleep, beckons for renewed life. The chill claws at my spirit with it's glassy haze that resides upon the dampened streets. Scott McDonald DESCRIPTION OF HOW THIS IMAGE WAS CREATED: - I found the bike on the net somewhere. I beleive it was at the Avalon free-download site. - The figure was done in Poser II - Both models were then imported to Rhino where the peices were put together and made to fit. The character's hair was modelled in Rhino as well. - Moray for windows is an excellent addition to Lutz & Kramer's already great modeller, which I used to create the textures and place the completed models into the scene. - The city was done using an include file built by Chris Colefax. This version of that file is fairly simple and I didn't want to put it up for grabs just yet. There should be a new one out soon. Check his webpage for this and more great plug-ins! - His new Galaxy.inc file was used for the background, although the stars are quite dim, it gave a smokey look to the skyline, which I thought added atmosphere! And of course, the Lens-Flares... (don't need a comment) - And of course, POVRAY was used to render the scene. What would the graphic community do without this behemoth of a FREEWARE Raytracer?
