===== From cyber.mage@mailexcite.com: More effort needed in the window and night. ===== From castlewrks@aol.com: What kind o' goop did you spill on that carpet. Also, I believe the rules say modifying the image like you describe is a no-no. ===== From agage@mines.edu: Nice overall. However, too many lights, the carpet looks a bit like stone, and the antialiasing could be better. ===== From gregj56590@aol.com: Lighting is funky, carpeting is unnatural. ===== From dormammu@erols.com: Nice picture. The lighting looks a little wierd, as some objects have 2 shadows which would indicate dual light sources, and you made it seem like moonlight was the only light source. ===== From ethelm@bigfoot.com: You were right about the blanket, it is very life like. Well done. The moonlight effect is largely lost by the bright lighting in the room. ===== From gmccarter@hotmail.com: Wait a minute, if this is a "moonlit bedroom", then where are the big shadows coming from? ===== From arcana@sinbad.net: I'm sorry, but the rules clearly state that post processing, beyond gamma correction and file conversion, is not allowed. As a result, I had no choice but to give you the lowest score possible. However, the image is a good one, and I hope to see more of your work in the future. ===== From djconnel@flash.net: Nicely done bedsheet! Other than the view out the window, there isn't much about night here, though -- where's the bed's occupant, for example? The rug needs a bit of work, and you should use all 480000 pixels. Note also that post-processing is not allowed..... it appears you overlooked this. ===== From cfusner@enter.net: This image shows a great deal of effort. It is somewhat surreal owing to the relative scale/postion of some of the elements. most notably (scale), the cylindrical endpiece on the radio's antenna, and (position) the way the dresser and the bed are positioned so close as to make it difficult to get to the lower drawers. But overall, a nice piece. ===== From peter@table76.demon.co.uk: It sounds from the text file as though you broke the rules by editing the image after it was rendered - a pity, as it doesn't look as though it was too bad before the editing :-( . ===== From r@dial-up30.webbernet.net: The bed and bedspread are good, if small looking compared to the other furniture. The desk needs a chair. The carpet is striking, but that looks more like a moon crater texture. The night sky doesn't work. Objects seem to be floating above the desk. This comment by clem@dhol.com.
