===== From cmorack@relex.com: That's one DARK CASTLE. I wonder if they just took about about twenty of those torches on each side of the wall, it might even be DARKER. But then, hell, there's the giant lens flare to see at the end of this well lit DARK CASTLE TUNNEL. ===== From castlewrks@aol.com: Flames provide yellow or orange light and not white light. What is the purpose of the lense flare at the end of the hall?? There isn't enough DARK places in your hallway to qualify for dark... and that has to be the biggest slab of stone I've ever seen as a roof of a "castle" hall. ===== From gregj56590@aol.com: Too obviously computer-generated ===== From dormammu@erols.com: Corel Photo Paint for Lens Flare? That sounds like illegal post processing to me. ===== From ethelm@bigfoot.com: A good effort but the lamp holders seem to be not connected to the wall. The arms themselves have shadows but there are no shadows on the walls which seem to suggest the flames are not the light sources. ===== From gmccarter@hotmail.com: The light at the end of the tunnel adds some interest (what is it? frightening or comforting?), but the majority of the scene is just too blank. ===== From arcana@sinbad.net: Unfortunately, while this is a very nice image, I had no choice but to give it the lowest score possible. The rules for submission clearly state that no post-processing of the image is allowed, beyond gamma correction, image conversion, etc.. The addition of a lens flare from Corel Photopaint is not allowable under those rules. I _DO_ hope you will submit another entry in the next round (without lens flares ). :{) ===== From djconnel@flash.net: The flames all look the same. The floor could use some work. The wall texturing is clearly periodic. The scene has nothing to do with night. ===== From r@du13-251.ppp.algonet.se: Really! ===== From r@dial-up30.webbernet.net: Off topic. No story. Floor needs work. Looks like mostly canned textures. This comment by clem@dhol.com.
